Brandbook for the National Bank of Ukraine
After winning tender procedures in the PROZORRO system, we were given an opportunity to update the identity of the National Bank of Ukraine. According to the brief, the logo and font have already been agreed, but some changes could be offered as part of the brandbook development.
The main purpose of updating Identity was to reflect the changes and reforms that have been carried out recently in the NBU, to create a style that is consistent with modern trends, but also to preserve continuity with known the bank style. The NBU is the main bank of the country, and trust in it is also based on the restraint and equilibrium of decisions, so any significant changes could not be perceived by ordinary clients and partners of the bank. Therefore, what is good for a designer, often did not coincide with the views of the financier. The golden mean of these different polar approaches became the NBU brandbook.
