Top tips: how to write a sales copy
1. 1. Make decisions quickly
The desire to make a text perfect is familiar to all perfectionists. But, unfortunately, it can create a fear of making the wrong decision. So don't go into a long and tedious process of searching for the right word or phrase.
Make a rule to make 3-4 options and choose the best one.
2. Create a comfort zone
Feeling uncomfortable at work can distract you from your creativity. But your body is a "creative partner" in any project. For example: it's hard to work when you have a toothache or footache. Discomfort is the same distracting pain, only weaker, but the body still "hears" it.
And even if you're just tired of sitting for a long time, get up and stretch.
3. Use productivity rules
Timeliness - set yourself a work schedule and start no later than the appointed time.
Focus - do only what you have planned.
Plan ahead - schedule breaks and take time off from work according to a strict schedule.
4. Avoid overloading and multitasking
Time management should be such that you don't have time pressure. There is nothing good about rushing, switching from project to project, or being overloaded with projects, except that you will get additional stress.
Workaholism is praiseworthy if it focuses on the quality of the result rather than the quantity of actions performed.
5. Say no to uncertain projects
Try not to take on projects if the participants, including the client, do not understand absolutely all the terms and conditions of the project.
It is better to hold additional negotiations than to waste time wandering in the dark.
6. Praise yourself for your successes
Well-deserved pride is a useful thing for an author. Learn to analyse the project and praise yourself for all the successful stages you have created. This is the exact opposite of perfectionism, when a person is not satisfied with the results because they initially set the bar too high. But don't get too excited - just treat yourself to something you love at the end of the day.
7. Get out of the creative crisis
If you have fallen into creative impotence, there is no point in tormenting yourself.
Just take a break, during which you try to lower your expectations to an average level. And by lowering your stress threshold, you can easily continue the project.
The secret is that if you overcome your fear, you will make a project of much higher quality than the average level.
